What we do

According to the current Australian standard AS/NZS 3760:2010, all the electrical equipment needs to be tested and tagged for safety purposes. Chronelo technicians are there to do a check on all your equipment. Our technicians use sophisticated PAT to test all your appliances and print a safety label onsite. We use both comprehensive visual test and electrical test as a part of testing and tagging.

Visual Test

Cornelo technicians do a comprehensive inspection of cord, plugs, appliances, and sockets. Guards and covers physically inspected to ensure that they are connected, appliances are checked for rattles indicating the presence of foreign objects that may compromise with the safety of the appliance.

Electrical Test

Under AS/NZS 3760:2010, following tests are conducted to check the electrical tests:

  • Polarity
  • Earthing
  • Insulation Resistance
  • Leakage current testing

Microwave Leakage Testing

Hitting the door, food particles or dust stuck in the door seals and hinges, or basic wear and tear all cause the oven door to slightly separate from the oven enclosure. Once this happens, invisible, but highly dangerous microwaves leak through the small space and cause irreversible damage and injury to the user. Chronelo tests the microwave leakage and in case its deteriorated.
